Now that's progress.

YOUR DIET PILLS ARE BOGUS: KIM KARDASHIAN SISTERS SUED FOR $5M!!!

Kim Kardashian and her sisters waged a campaign of LIES when they claimed they got their rock hard bikini bodies from a diet pill called QuickTrim ... this according to a new $5 MILLION lawsuit.

The point of the suit -- a bunch of people in NY claim there's no POSSIBLE way QuickTrim could've helped Kim, Khloe and Kourtney lose weight ... because the main ingredient is caffeine. According to the suit, "The FDA has determined [caffeine] is not a safe or effective treatment for weight control."

Enter the Kardashians ... celebrity spokespeople who are featured on just about every single product QuickTrim sells.

According to the suit, filed in NY by Bursor & Fisher, the Kardashians fed lies to the public through commercials, magazines and social media since 2009 ... like when Kim went on Twitter and said, "Our QuickTrim cleanse will be massive! Khloe has already lost so much weight."

The plaintiffs claim they would NEVER have purchased the QuickTrim products if they would have known the truth ... and claim the Kardashian testimonials were completely unsubstantiated.

Now, the Kardashians, QuickTrim and various companies that sold the products are being sued for more than $5 million in damages.

So far, no comment from the Kardashian camp.

SWIZZ BEATZ EXPLAINS PLANS TO BRING K-POP TO AMERICA

In the wake of his international deal, Swizz Beatz says that he hopes to migrate culture from Korea to America.

Swizz Beatz recently announced a partnership with ON-Media to bring K-pop to America, a move intended to “migrate cultures.” During an interview with The FADER, Swizzy explained that artists like Kanye West and will.i.am have collaborated with Korean pop artists, but that he wants to build a lane for them to break through in the U.S.

“I’m not trying to just do a feature. I’m really trying to migrate culture,” he explains. “I don’t have to produce everything, I don’t have to rap on everything. I want to set up tour and TV shows and just have a super creative outlet for people to express themselves. We need to start bridging those gaps, and thinking globally is the way to go.”

The rapper/producer said that in order to integrate K-pop into American music, he plans on pairing artists from both countries. His hope is to end up with Chris Brown on a song with Big Bang, or Nicki Minaj on a track with 2NE1.

“Bridging the gaps with collaborations can be the start of a global phenomenon. We’ve got this group called Big Bang, they dropped a song called 'Blue,' and I’m like, everybody should know about that,” he continued. “So how do you keep communication going? When you’re a big artist in the states, they roll out the red carpets for you, and I don’t feel that love for artists from other countries when they come here.

I’m like, wait a minute, that’s not fair. Why can’t they get some respect? So my thing is to team up a Big Bang with a Chris Brown, somebody like that. Team up 2NE1 with Nicki Minaj or Rihanna. You take an international hit and make it even more international, even more familiar. Bridge that gap.”

For last few decades concern of public health is amazingly increasing among civil society to policy maker of developing countries whereas developed countries already have been paying sincere attention towards the issues.

Mostly Asian and African countries have different types of challenges in public health where specially shaded since long and went away as low priorities issues. Among many challenges neonatal deaths counts a major. Diarrhea, maternal HIV infections, Anemia, Respiratory governing factors of such deaths and study revealed premature births are one major underlying for this.

In nearly 40 percent of premature births, the causes govern for that is not known yet. But people who involved in research have traced some development in learning the causes of immature births of babies. And further, Studies revealed four main leading to impulsive premature births such as infections, maternal or fetal stress, bleeding and uterus may become overstretched by the presence of more than one baby.

Other factors, such as multiple pregnancy, inductions and cesarean sections, can also play a role. But knowledge about these four routes may help scientists develop more effective interventions that can halt the various chemical cascades that lead to premature birth. On the other hand, those births, born earlier few weeks have a more risk of health problems in infancy and supports infant deaths count.

Generally births take place in 40 weeks of pregnancy and after 37 weeks birthing may not causes any harm doctors said. And those babies will have similar capacity to those who born at 40 weeks pregnancy, the comparison has concluded after 14,000 a team from Leicester, Liverpool, Oxford and Warwick and the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit has involved to carry out study on the subject either to think of babies as either being born at term or premature which was analyzed among children born around 10 years back and for age of 5 years. In developing countries, early marriage, unwanted pregnancy, poor access to health facilities and unavailability of contraceptives are also remarkable causes of immature births and deaths of neonatal and infants.

Therefore, Planning for a healthy pregnancy is most important part of hopeful motherhood. Preterm birth is a major health problem, and one that is increasing. Because preterm birth is such a problem, scientists are working hard to figure out who is most at risk among many, how to diagnose preterm labor earlier possible, and how to prevent birth when labor starts early.

So, it would be rather better to consult to skills health workers about possible risk factors and what one pregnant can do to reduce or eliminate the risks.

NDLEA ARREST PAKISTANI WITH N120M HEROIN

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have arrested a 35-year-old Pakistani with 13 kilogrammes of “high grade” heroin with an estimated street value of about N120m.

The anti-drug agency said the suspect, Mr. Syed Ahmed-Bukhari, (pictured above) was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, shortly after arriving aboard a Qatar Airways flight from Doha.

A statement by the Head, Public Affairs, Mr. Mitchell Ofoyeju, said Ahmed-Bukhari was found with parcels of brownish powdery substances that tested positive to heroin. The agency believed the arrest had aborted the entry of a perilous Pakistani drug cartel into the country.

The statement quoted the Chief Executive Officer, NDLEA, Alhaji Ahmadu Giade, as stressing that the agency would make drug trafficking unprofitable through regular seizures. “Drug trafficking is attractive to criminal cartels because of the huge profit but we are determined to make it unprofitable through regular seizures, arrest and prosecution,” Giade said

The NDLEA Airport Commander, Mr. Hamza Umar, said the suspect was carrying a Pakistani international passport with number BT3347071. Umar said, “A 35-year-old Pakistani was apprehended following the discovery of 13 kilogrammes of high grade heroin in his hand luggage. A Nigerian clearing and forwarding agent by name Okereke Chukwudi, 42, who is suspected to be an accomplice has also been arrested and investigation had commenced.”

Ahmed-Bukhari, an electrical engineer, who hails from Karachi is believed to be working for a Pakistan-based drug cartel, according to the statement. He was found to have travelled from Karachi to Abu Dhabi aboard Pakistan Airline flight before taking Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Lagos.
Ofoyeju said the suspected accomplice, Chukwudi, who hails from Ekulobia, Anambra State, was cooperating with narcotic investigators.

NDLEA boss added that the arrest of the Pakistani few days after three Bolivians were caught in a suspected case of methamphetamine production was a demonstration of the agency’s resolve to bring drug traffickers to justice. Giade said, “The anti-drug crusade is total and must be pursued with determination. While working hard to prevent the involvement of our citizens in drug trafficking, the agency will resist attempt by foreigners to smuggle drugs into the country.

“The NDLEA Act applies to all culprits. We shall yet be more vigilant and ensure that illicit drugs are intercepted in our country.” NDLEA said both suspects would be charged to court soon.
