I DID NOT MARRY AKI BECAUSE OF HIS MONEY OR FAME - NNEOMA IKEDIEZE

The Mass Communication graduate of Enugu State University spoke briefly to Uche Olehi of  Encomium mag during her wedding ceremony last weekend. Excerpts:

    How did you two meet?
Nneoma: We met in Lagos. We worked in a production together. I was a costumier. I have always been seeing him, I just like his lifestyle. So we became friends and from there the journey began.
How did you know he was your man?
Nneoma: I am not a friend keeping type, but when I meet my friend, I know. We have been friends and I think I saw what I like in a man in him.

Please continue...
What are the qualities you saw in him?
Nneoma: Chinedu is very intelligent and smart.
What was your parents reaction when you told them you are getting married to Aki?
Nneoma: They were not surprised. My dad was like 'waoo, you go ahead if he is your choice.
Would you say you it is a natural love you have for Chinedu?
Nneoma: Yes. I just love him naturally.
What do you really want changed in Chinedu?
Nneoma: Nothing to be changed. He is okay for me.
Many people believe you are going for his money and celebrity status?
Nneoma: That is cheap talk. They can say whatever they want to say. I married Chinedu Ikedieze, I did not marry Aki.

I DIDN'T UNDERGO PLASTIC SURGERY - STAR ACTRESS RUKKY SANDA

When asked by an Encomium reporter if she'd had any work done, the actress replied:

As you're looking at me now, do I look like someone who has undergone plastic surgery? All I have said about plastic surgery is that it's not a sin. If you can afford it, go for it. That's just my own impression about it. I thank God you knew me before now, I believe you should be able to differentiate between my face then and now.

“Juicy J is now with Taylor Gang, we goin’ in this year man. 2012, we goin’ in,” said Juicy J. “It’s going down. We got a compilation album we’re doing. When you hear it, you’re going to be like ‘Wow!’”

T.I. CREDITS ENIMEN FOR HELPING HIM OVERCOME HIS DRUG ADDICTION

Tip reveals that he reached out to Marshall for help when he feared he might be addicted to drugs.

T.I. previously revealed that he turned to Eminem for help after fearing that he developed a drug habit last year. Speaking with Billboard.com's The Juice, Tip says that he depended on the prescription pills oxycontin and hydrocodone to help relieve his pain from oral surgeries. While he hasn't seen him since he's gotten out of prison, he commends him for supporting him through the difficult time.

"I haven't had a chance to speak to Em since I've been home," T.I. said. "I heard that while I was down, he was trying to get in contact with me, but I don't know if the dots just didn't connect. [Eminem] overcoming his own adversities, winning the battle against his own demons and continuing to break the mold and re-set the standard of what it means to be the most successful hip-hop artist in the game ... I salute that to no end."

He also shared some words on what addicts can do to help kick their habits. "It starts with you on the inside," he said. "I can give all the advice in the world, but at the end of the day you just got to make that decision internally with yourself. You have to see that you are ready to make a change. Until that moment comes, all advice in the world is going to be in vain cause I'm going to be talking to a brick wall.

"Everybody can tell you what you need to do, how to do it, when you need to do it, how bad you need to do it," he continued. "But until you get that right ass whipping, as they say, and until you have hit rock bottom or have seen something in yourself that is so out of character and it displeases you so much that you just have no choice but to change it ... then you ain't going to see it."

MAYBACK TO STOP CAR PRODUCTION, UNPROFITABLE SINCE 2002

Hip Hop's favorite car company for the last decade says it hasn't been able to sell enough product, even with Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Russell Simmons and N.O.R.E. as customers.

Jay-Z & Kanye West's “Otis” video may have been a precursor and Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group may find itself in a bind soon. Daimler AG, the German automaker that makes Mercedes-Benz cars, has announced it is shuttering the high-end Maybach brand. Apparently, despite being popular among the Hip Hop elite, the uber-luxury cars just weren’t selling and at that, were bringing down Daimler’s bottom line. Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche was quoted as saying that Daimler hasn’t made a profit on the Maybach, which it reintroduced in 2002.

The nixing of the Maybachs, which cost north of $350,000 apiece, comes with a caveat: the Mercedes-Benz S-Class will be expanded with several new models, which will come to market in 2013, several media outlets, including Bloomberg News and USA Today, have reported. The brand was “1930s-era marquee,” according to USA Today.

The new S-Class “can replace the Maybach,” Zetsche said. Mercedes will double variations of the $95,000 S-Class to six as it seeks to boost annual vehicle sales by at least 10,000 a year.

Hip Hop's elite haven't reacted yet, but it's safe to say Jay, 'Ye and MMG may address it sooner than later - perhaps in a song, even.
