ACTRESS AISHA ABIMBOLA A.K.A OMOGE CAMPUS OPENS UP ON ALLEGED TROUBLE MARRIAGE


The name Aisha Abimbola may not ring a bell. But the movie, Omoge Campus that shot the pretty role interpreter to limelight years back lingers in the memories of movie buffs for her brilliant role.

For about five years, Aisha was underground but now she is back and better. In a recent interview; Aisha debunked the rumour making the rounds that her marriage is having issues because she disregarded her husband order of not coming back into acting.

She said; People have gone back to their filthy way, they have started insinuating rubbish. My husband never asked me not to act.

There was nothing like that. He is fully in support of my career because he knew I was an actress before he married me and we have been living together without any problem. Whoever is telling you that is lying. I don’t want anything like that in my life now that I am back in the industry.

People should just allow me concentrate on my career. I have no problem with my husband. My relationship is still very much intact. What you’ve told me is just a mere speculation.  Only stayed back to take care of my family and I believe this is the right time to come back to acting. My husband has always been there for me.

Entertainers Besiege Clothing Stores For(Headies) Hip Hop World Awards


Nigerian entertainers have began preparations towards attending and performing at the much talked about Hip Hop World Awards tagged The Headies. Those who should know, disclosed that entertainers in and outside Lagos are so ecstatic about the award ceremony so much that some have besieged fashion and clothing stores to equip their wardrobes in readiness for this year’s edition of the awards ceremony.

Those names weren’t disclosed, it was further gathered that first time performers and nominees are the guiltiest of the ecstatic preparation towards the awards ceremony. Already entertainers like M.I, Dr. Sid, Banky W, Flavor Nabaniya, Ice Prince have been billed to perform at the awards while Omawumi, Muna, Waje, Olamide, Tiwa Savage, Brymo and others would be making their first entry to the HHWA stage this year.

Leading hip hop acts -Wizkid, Iceprince, Olamide, Goldie and Tiwa Savage- are hopeful of wining one of the Hip Hop World Awards plaques known as ‘Headies.’ These hip hop acts, already nominated for different categories aside the ‘Next Rated’ category of the awards ceremony, have been busy canvassing the votes of their fans and watchers of the industry. Kennis Music Duchess, Goldie, has been nominated in the category of Best Pop Female and Best Video, but the ‘Next Rated’ category, which comes with a prize, is said to be the most-talked about in the industry and industry watchers are divided over who should win it.

Oil Prices Fall after Gaddafi Reported Dead


Oil traded near its lowest in four days in New York, giving up gains following reports that deposed Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was killed by rebel forces.

West Texas Intermediate crude was little changed on the New York Mercantile Exchange, erasing an earlier gain of 1%. Prices had risen on speculation European Union leaders will reach agreement on enhancing their rescue fund. Libyan ruling council fighters captured Gaddafi in his hometown of Sirte, Al Jazeera television reported, citing unidentified people.

“These are political markets right now,” said Carsten Fritsch, an analyst in Frankfurt at Commerzbank AG told Bloomberg. The bank was the fourth most-accurate forecaster of Brent prices in the third quarter. “Risk aversion is back.”

Radio Personality, Oreka Godis, Leaves Beat FM

The Beat FM OAP who handles the Morning Rush from 6am to 11am every week day resigned officially on Oct 14th, handing in a two weeks notice to the management of the radio station. So from November 1, you will no longer hear her voice on Beat FM.
